Research and Teaching

In my doctoral dissertation in political and social theory at the University of Kent I explored critical pedagogy through the perspective of anarchist theory. I developed subversive teaching practices in higher education based on anarchist theory.

After completing my PhD, I worked as a lecturer in education at Birmingham City University. To further my interest in anarchism and critical pedagogy, I would like to continue to connect theory and practice to facilitate personal and social change. The connection between theory, practice, the personal and the social levels come together in my project on Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy and its applicability to our social issues today.
