New Spring 2025!

German Immersion Program

The AiB German Immersion Semester is an interdisciplinary program which offers students the opportunity to explore and study German language, culture, history, politics, and societies in the heart of the Rhineland. Bonn, as Germany’s former capital and today’s NGO/UN hub is an international city right on the Rhine and an excellent place for study and starting point for travel through all of Europe. Students take a German language class and can choose up to three additional classes for a total of 12 US credits ranging from history and politics, to sustainability, art, and social studies.
Optional workshops allow students to further their personal skills while studying abroad.

An optional 5-day study tour to Berlin (1 credit) at the end of the semester gives students the chance to immerse themselves even more in German culture and history while exploring one of Germany’s most diverse and vibrant cities.
