20 years as a host sister, that leaves its mark! For me, living together with people from other cultures has become natural. Friendships have developed and I love reading about my former American host sisters and brothers on social media and am always happy to get Christmas cards with family photos from the US.

During my studies as a healthcare manager, I was particularly interested in foreign healthcare systems and what caring for people in different cultures looks like. As a Housing Manager at AiB, I can now combine both my own first-hand experiences and my acquired knowledge of medical and psychosocial issues. In my free time I like to be creative and paint abstract and on a large-scale.
