Koordination und Lehre DaF

I have worked as an instructor for German as a second language with various groups and different focus points for more than ten years. I consider it a privilege to be able to make people’s stay in a foreign country – however brief or long it may be – a little easier by enabling them to communicate in German. Watching students improve their language skills in a matter of weeks is the most rewarding and joyful part of my job.

After my studies in linguistics and Anglistics and a subsequent master’s degree in German as a foreign and second language I was able to sharpen my profile with further training in anti-racism. A master’s degree in North American Studies with an emphasis on North American history as well as post-colonial studies eventually led me to also integrate German American relations in my professional life.

In my free time I like to read, sing, go running and cycling and regularly try my luck gardening on my balcony.
