Professor of Philosophy and Social Innovation

As a senior lecturer and supervisor of PhD students in various countries and the founding president of Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences, I havelong-standing international experience in the field of higher education and quality assurance. I am a member of the board in Germany’s Federation of Private Universities and at the same time its representative in the Federal Council of Accreditation.
The focus of my work lies in the connection of philosophical thinking with issues of education, spiritual development, and social responsibility. Alongside this,I am interested in developing, supporting and implementing projects in two main areas: social and cultural entrepreneurship, and consultancy at universities in the fields of quality assurance and the development of both study programs and degree-awarding programs.
